Thomas Brame – Staff Designer

TOMTOMThomas Brame grew up in Greene County, Virginia on a historic home site just north of Charlottesville. Having graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Thomas traveled to Kyoto, Japan and studied Japanese Gardens with world-renowned landscape designers Marc Keane and Hiromasa Amasaki. After moving back to Virginia, he joined the Grow Co. as a design associate and field manager.

Growing up, Thomas gained valuable experience living the “farm life” - learning to tend gardens, raise chickens and understand the meaning of quality land management. After years of loving work on local restoration projects and fieldstone walls, he has developed a deep appreciation for the architectural and landscape heritage that makes this area so special.

Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife (Helen) and daughter (Lucy), playing music, traveling and being outdoors. After a heavy rain, you may see him speeding off to one of his favorite rivers or creeks to go whitewater kayaking."
